OUR STORY:

In 1999 David and Michelle launched Neujahr Remodeling, Inc. in Forest Lake, Minnesota. The Neujahr’s initially launched their business to fill a need in the market and to follow their dream of business ownership. Over the course of a decade, they managed large renovation projects, built new homes, framed large commercial buildings, and employed a dedicated crew of construction professionals. In addition, they were active in the remodeling industry nationally, created solid business systems, and most importantly were able to create meaningful relationships with their clients, subcontractors, and employees.  Michelle and David sold the business to one of their employees in 2005 to pursue Michelle’s lifelong dream of living in Maine. Over the past 15 years, David has worked in the building industry in Maine. Michelle has continued to build her consulting firm focusing on helping businesses in the construction field strategically grow their businesses. Brandon served in the US Army, has an extensive sales background, and grew up working in the the family business. 

 

The Neujahr’s are excited to be back in the construction business. NU-YAR Construction, LLC officially launched in September of 2020. In October they hired their oldest son, Brandon Neujahr, as their first official employee and then in January of 2021 Brandon became an owner. The Neujahr team has a passion for quality construction and serving their clients. Taking what they have learned over the last three decades, the team is poised to offer quality building services to the Greater Portland area. The Neujahr’s have refined their business systems to make building easy for their clients and subcontractors. NU-YAR Construction is committed to using their experience to build with quality and to act with integrity every step of the way.
